||Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, Total Call International, Inc has been a provider of high-quality telecommunication services since 1999. The candidate must be energetic with the ability and willingness to work as part of a team. In this role you will be responsible and accountable for all phases of the Collection Department, including but not limited to; scheduling, performance, and statistical reporting, policy and procedure compliance and employee supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES are to supervise collection staff to efficiently carry out job duties and tasks; providing performance evaluation feedback; motivate collections staff to meet or exceed collection target/goals assigned. Be responsible for accurate creation and timely distribution of required reporting to management. Maintain individual and department productivity reports, publishing daily, weekly, month and/year to date statistics. Be responsible for achieving individual call volume goals as well as ensuring that overall department goals are achieved. Provide feedback & make recommendations to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement. Manage team productivity, monitor workload management assessment and address periods of peak volume, ensure that quality and standards of consistently are achieved and guidelines are followed. Responsible for making and taking escalated collection calls; taking payments; disconnection of service; identify fraud and collections of return items and follow up on collection calls by the team. Research disputes; escalate and follow up on disputes forwarded to Customer Service dept. Recommend business and residential accounts to be sent to collections on a monthly basis by the 7th of the following month. Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 System.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS are an Associate's Degree in business, or equivalent, and five years experience in credit and collection work and one year collection supervisory experience is required. Knowledge of the Federal and State Fair Debt Collection Act and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and train others; handle confidential and sensitive information using good judgment; work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced high performance environment and drive results. Must be organized, detail oriented with effective follow-through.
